We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and quality, and we?re looking for a *Financial Controller* to join our team and help drive our financial strategy. *Key Responsibilities:* * Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. * Manage and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reports. * Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting, analysis, and forecasts. * Coordinate the preparation of regulatory filings and ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local financial legal requirements. * Develop financial strategies by analyzing financial trends and forecasting revenue and expenses. * Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and implement cost-saving measures. * Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management. * Ensure compliance with corporate tax filings and manage relationships with external auditors. * Monitor financial risks and implement effective internal controls and financial policies. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:* * CPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) or equivalent. * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master?s degree is a plus. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the agriculture, food production, or manufacturing sectors. * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. * Experience with ERP systems and financial management software. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with cross-functional teams. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Interested in agriculture and working in a rural area on-site Del Fresco Produce welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
