*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* - Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions - Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and offering help when needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are processed efficiently *Qualifications* - Previous experience in a cashier role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions - Familiarity with food safety standards is a plus - Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively - Ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Cashiering: 1 year (required) * Customer service: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-25- LocationPointe-Claire, QC
