We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our<p>team at Jockvale Elementary School. <p>Jockvale Elementary School, home of the Jaguars, is located in the Barrhaven community and has a population of almost 400 students. Our near-raise school consists of dual track Kindergarten to grade 6 classes and a Behaviour Intervention Program (BIP) named "Team 18". Our staff and students are dynamic and diverse and as a Third Path school, we pride ourselves on being student-centered as we teach our students to advocate for themselves and develop and share their voice. We use the WITS program with our students to promote kindness, solve problems, and prevent bullying. Our Jaguars are passionate about sports and co-curriculars, and they look forward to participating in a variety of activities after the long hiatus. Visitors and new staff consistently comment on how friendly and supportive the school community is and we welcome one and all to the Jockvale Pride because, as our motto states, it is where we belong.
