*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The Automotive Technician will work with various power tools and equipment, and must be comfortable with heavy lifting as part of their daily responsibilities. *Duties* * Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot issues effectively. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients. * Operate power tools safely and efficiently during repairs and maintenance tasks. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and high-quality service delivery. * Perform welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex automotive issues. * Familiarity with automotive repair tools, equipment, and schematics. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks. * Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. * Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required.
