Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Motor vehicles. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Follow directions and read map. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Perform administrative tasks. Provide customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Organized. Team player. Excellent oral communication. Punctuality.
