POSITION : Intermediate Teacher - temporary <p>ASSIGNMENT: Intermediate (Gr 4-7) <p>FTE: 0.2 <p>LOCATION: Dragon Lake Elementary School <p>EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025 <p>Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:<p>Training Specialization : Elementary Education with specialization at the intermediate level<p>Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level<p>A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.<p>Additional Qualifications : Not required for this posting<p>Other :<p><p> The successful candidate must be willing to take part in UFLI instruction<p> Willingness to support the school plan for Student Success.<p> Willingness to work as part of the school-based team to implement plans for struggling students.<p> Commitment to working as part of a team in the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan and Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement.<p><p>The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
