Responsibilities
Tasks

Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs

Inspect processes

Design plant layouts and production facilities

Conduct work measurement or other studies

Develop and carry out health, safety and fire prevention plans

Conduct safety training programs

Collect and analyze data and samples

Develop manufacturing and processing procedures

Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports

Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Follow-up on issues with work orders

Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
