*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. *Duties* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix software. * Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. * Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient inquiries or concerns with professionalism. * Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. *Requirements* * Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication is key to patient care. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. * Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory. * Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
