*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals. This position offers an opportunity to work with children and contribute to their growth and development in a supportive environment. We are looking for full-time and casual. The positions are majority weekend hours. Also with fill hours during the week. *Duties* - Engage with children in educational and recreational activities - Provide mentorship and guidance to youth participants - Create and implement age-appropriate programs and initiatives - Foster a safe and inclusive space for children to learn and grow - Collaborate with team members to coordinate youth-focused events and projects - Cultural engagement *Skills* - Ability to educate and inspire children - Experience working with children is preferred but not required - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards youth development Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 48 per week Benefits: * Casual dress Ability to commute/relocate: * Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 0M6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationWetaskiwin, AB
