*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as sand, gravel, and construction debris. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary. * Maintain accurate records of materials transported. * Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and job site conditions. * Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the vehicle on public roads and job sites. * Perform basic maintenance on the truck as needed, including minor automotive repairs. *Requirements* * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Valid Class 1 license. * Experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. * Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus. * Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and material types commonly transported in dump trucks. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. * Commitment to safety practices and regulations in all aspects of work.
