We are seeking an experienced line cook to join The Cheshire Cat Team. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Food Preparation:* Efficiently prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, including meats, sauces, soups, and produce, following our recipes and quality standards. * *Station Management:* Oversee and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned cooking stations, ensuring all ingredients are properly stored and prepared. * *Quality Control:* Monitor the quality and presentation of each dish to ensure consistency with our standards, making adjustments as needed. * *Health & Safety:* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. * *Team Collaboration:* Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a smooth workflow. *Qualifications:* * *Experience:* Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen environment required. * *Skills:* Proficiency in preparing a wide range of dishes and using kitchen equipment efficiently. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential. * *Work Ethic:* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to quality. * *Physical Stamina:* Capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work under high-pressure conditions. Starting wage is competitive, based on experience, with room to grow- plus tip out and a free staff meal while on shift Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationCarp, ON
