*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in restaurant management and a commitment to food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and create innovative menus that reflect our restaurant's vision.
*Duties*
* Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Develop and design seasonal menus that highlight fresh ingredients and culinary trends.
* Supervise daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food handling, and sanitation practices.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety protocols, and best practices.
* Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to health regulations.
* Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
* Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Exceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills.
* Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
