*Overview* G-Force seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the premises. If you have a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply. *Duties* * Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities. * Operate and maintain CCTV equipment to ensure effective monitoring of all areas. * Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. * Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. * Collaborate with law enforcement when required and provide detailed reports on incidents or suspicious activities. * Assist in the training of new security personnel on protocols and procedures. * Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, observations, and incidents. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in loss prevention or security is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with law enforcement practices is a plus. * Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment including CCTV systems. * Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. * Must possess a valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations. _G Force Security is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Job Type: Casual Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * On call * Weekends as needed Experience: * Security guard: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * First Aid Certification (required) * Security Guard Licence (required) * Class G Licence (required) Willingness to travel: * 100% (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-24- LocationTimmins, ON
