*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This position is part time: Monday 8:30-4:00 and Tuesday from 8:30-5:00pm. Potential for additional days based on applicants availability. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist in the diagnosis of periodontal disease and other oral health issues. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system. * Collaborate with dentists and other staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and sterilization of instruments. * Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience. *Experience* Candidates should have: * A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Familiarity with Gold or similar dental office management software is advantageous. * Familiartity with iTero intra oral scans or similiar programs * A solid understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients.
