*Overview*
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to transform spaces into functional and visually appealing environments. This role requires effective communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a Interior Design Project Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences while ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and practical requirements.
*Duties*
* Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their vision for interior spaces.
* Develop design concepts that align with client expectations, incorporating elements of style, color, texture, and space planning.
* Present design proposals to clients, effectively communicating ideas through sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings.
* Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure project specifications are met within budgetary constraints.
* Supervise the implementation of design projects, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
* Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that may arise during construction or installation.
* Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
* Manage risks associated with project timelines and deliverables while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in interior design or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
* Excellent negotiation skills for working with clients and vendors.
* Experience in product management and development is a plus.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAFe principles is advantageous.
* Ability to gather requirements efficiently and translate them into actionable design plans.
* Strong risk management skills to identify potential challenges early in the design process.
* A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
