We need lawyers who are team players, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionate about helping people. *What You?ll Do* We are growing our firm and are looking for associates who want to be part of this growth journey. We are interested in experienced lawyers who have practiced litigation for with 3-5 years. We are looking for a team player who is ready to take on client work. The majority of our work is litigation. You will be involved in a wide range of legal work for all matters pertaining to wrongful dismissal, reviewing severance offers, constructive dismissal, contract writing and review, dispute resolution, human rights issues in the workplace and litigating employment matters. You will be meeting with clients for initial consultations to provide legal advice and determine if it is in the clients interest to retain the firm A key function of this role is to provide the highest level of client service and work with the rest of our team to achieve the best experience for every client. *Who You Are* * 3-5 years of litigation experience * Passionate about the law, including willingness to improve and hone legal skills * A creative problem solver with a positive and helpful attitude and excellent people skills * Committed to personal growth and continuous improvement ? you consider yourself a fast learner and love to develop and perfect new skills * Dedication to providing efficient and effective service for our clients * Practical business instincts on billable targets and the business of law * Have a J.D. or LL.B from a recognized Canadian or International institution * Are an active member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta *What We Offer* At Cashion Legal we offer: * Base salary * Incentive based compensation based on the firm's overall performance * 1,150 billable hour target * Parking * Flexible working arrangements after completing probationary period * Group benefits program * Professional development allowance * A culture of freedom and responsibility Job Type: Full-time Pay: $105,000.00-$115,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * What do you enjoy most about being a lawyer? * What are your long term goals, and how would joining our firm help you achieve these goals?
