We have at Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Supervisor to join our company at our Chatham, ON production facility. We are looking for candidates who take initiative, love to learn, work hard, and have a stable work history. *Please note there is NO relocation allowance or visa sponsorship available for this position. What You'll Do: * Supervise and lead the administrative department by assigning work, providing support and managing/coaching employees. Accountable for ensuring all administrative work processes and flow are accurate and effective * Coordinate local tasks related to the hiring process as needed (schedule interviews, assist with on boarding, etc.). * Prepare maintain and appropriately retain a variety of files, reports, and other records. * Establish and maintain strong relationships internally and with external business partners. * Manage assigned budget(s). * Exercise sound judgment in making appropriate decisions and recommendations as challenges or issues arise. * Provide appropriate assistance and information to personnel, assist with ensuring good communication across the organization and with various external stake holders. * Prepare and deliver key messages related to administrative business operations. * Responsible for interpreting policies, procedures and practices within the assigned areas. * Support Continuous Improvement activities around safety, quality, and productivity. * Provide training for time entry in ADP, run payroll reports and review for data entry accuracy. * Other duties as assigned. QualificationsWhat Skills You Need: * High School Diploma/GED. * 5 years of related administrative work experience preferred. * Knowledgeable and experienced in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), computer applications (SAP), etc. * Experience in the development, implementation and management of business projects/procedures. * Strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills. * Logical problem-solving skills, and decision-making ability. * Self-starter with strong attention to detail who knows how to prioritize work and you possess excellent organizational skills. * Respectful attitude and have a strong ethical mindset, therefore you are able to maintain confidentiality and discretion. * Thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to quickly adapt to change. * Ability to build strong relationships and provide effective leadership to the organization. * Willing and able to work overtime hours including weekends and holidays as needed during seasonal peaks to support business needs. What Makes You Stand Out: * Post secondary education in business administration, office management or related field.
