Cleveland Design is currently looking for experienced body techs. Applicants must have previous experience within the industry or similar industries. Body techs need to be proficient in doing filler work to a high level of quality. Experience in straightening and sharpening of panels along with accurately gaping body panels is crucial.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assembly and disassembly of vehiclesBody work prepMasking, priming, sanding, buffing & paintWelding + Metal work Frame straighteningstructural repairs on vehiclesDesign, cut, shape, and form sheet metal to create custom body panels, components, and parts for classic and custom vehicles.Modify and fit pre-existing parts to ensure precise alignment and aesthetic appeal.Perform MIG, TIG, and spot welding to assemble and secure metal components.Ensure all welds meet structural integrity and aesthetic standards.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD drawings to accurately fabricate custom parts.Requirements:Experience as a body TechnicianExcellent diagnostic skills, pride in workmanship, team playerMust have a valid drivers' license and be able to provide an acceptable driver abstract.Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven.
