Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Civil engineering, general. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects. Analyze tenders and recommend awards. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems. Study engineering drawings and blueprints. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete saws. Area of specialization: Project management.
