Ask us about all career opportunities such as lead hand, supervisor, workplace trainers and many more</li> <li>Comprehensive Benefits Package and Pension Plan, Employee Family Assistance Program, Employee Shared Ownership Program and Employee Discounts</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>What is the job?</b></p> <ul> <li>Pick-up and delivery of customer's packages efficiently</li> <li>Ability to solve problems as they arise while on road</li> <li>Build positive relationships with both our internal teams and customers</li> <li>Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections</li> <li>Managing daily delivery and pick-up schedules as assigned</li> <li>Unloading and sorting freight</li> <li>Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt</li> <li>Scanning/Cubing/Reweighing</li> <li>Build positive relationships with team (couriers, lead hands and sorters)</li> <li>Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles</li> <li>Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading</li> <li>Adhere to all safety standards</li> <li>Regular and reliable attendance</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> </div></div><div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </div><div><p>Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules<br> Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day<br> Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers<br> Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)</p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Requirements</strong> </div><div><ul> <li>Valid class 5 license, clean drivers abstract</li> <li>Ability to read maps; Good sense of geographical direction</li> <li>Flexible to work additional hours or overtime</li> <li>Able to pass a criminal record check</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 70lbs.</li> <li>Strong customer focus and communication</li> <li>Reliable and punctual behaviour</li> <li>Steel toed boots</li> <li>Courier methods training and/or work-related experience</li> <li>Strong customer service skills</li> <li>Strong organizational skills</li> <li>Team player, P- LocationYorkton, SK
