Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. Maintenance. Service. Repair. Overhaul. Machine set-up. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Assemble stationary industrial machinery. Coach and instruct apprentices. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Construct foundations for machinery. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Experience: 5 years or more. Health benefits: Dental plan. Disability benefits. Health care plan.
