Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Beauty shop or aesthetic service. Tasks: Body care/treatments. Make custom designs for clients. Provide general information to customers on beauty products. Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. Perform exfoliating body treatment. Apply make-up on customers. Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art. Clean, trim and polish nails. Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions. Facials. Manicures. Pedicures. Relaxation massage. Skin care. Refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians. Provide customer service. Area of work experience: Cosmetician/cosmetologist. Esthetician. Manicurist. Pedicurist. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
