<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Genrep Ltd. is an organization focused on maintaining Emergency Standby Generators, we have grown to an organization that provides end to end Generator and Engine solutions. We are looking for a <strong>Forklift Operator/Shipper</strong> for our new Hamilton, On location. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day warehousing tasks, material handling support, and shipping/receiving duties for the Production and Parts teams. The associate will also expedite and maintain the movement of materials from vendors and suppliers and between departments in an organization. This role requires the ability to remain organized and on top of scheduled shipments and production goals.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Shipping/receiving duties.</li><li>Must have a valid forklift license.</li><li>Experience with both Reach and Counterbalance Forklifts are required.</li><li>Maintaining shop supplies and equipment in good order.</li><li>Managing inventory levels in both the parts stock area and warehouse; count inventory as required.</li><li>Communicating effectively with vendors and customers.</li><li>Handling skids, boxes, and loose materials.</li><li>Stocking materials within the warehouse and production.</li><li>Performing monthly physical inventory and regular cycle counting.</li><li>Maintaining a record of the outstanding purchase orders.</li><li>Contacting vendors through telephone calls, by email and in person.</li><li>Monitors shipments to ensure that purchase order information matches the shipment. This can include the quantity and quality of materials.
