<p>Temporary Part -Time (0. 77 FTE) Educational Assistant <p>Willow Creek Composite High School <p>Willow Creek Composite High School in Claresholm, Alberta is seeking to employ the very best school based staff in Alberta! If you believe in contributing to a supportive caring learning environment for students we are looking for you to join our team.<p>Willow Creek Composite High School requires a Part-Time (0.77 FTE) Temporary Educational Assistant. This position will commence as soon as a suitable candidate is found and end on June 26, 2025.<p>Under the direction of the Learning Support Teacher, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for student(s) to help meet the goals as identified in the student's learning plan as well as in- class supports for students with Individual Program Plans (IPPs).<p>Desired qualifications include the following: Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings<p> Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility<p> Experience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex needs<p> Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team<p> Physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with a student with complex needs<p> Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent would be an asset<p> NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.Willow Creek Composite High School, located in Claresholm, Alberta is a grades 7-12 school with approximately 350 students.
