Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Retail service establishment. Retail business. Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Manage staff and assign duties. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales. Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale. Determine staffing requirements. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system. Accounting software. Area of specialization: Shipping and receiving. Trading. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. What is the highest level of study you have completed?. Experience: 5 years or more.- LocationHamilton, ON
