*Sundowners Day Care *has been offering high quality non-profit licensed child care programs in Windsor and the surrounding community since 1987. We are governed and operated by professionals with many years of experience in Early Childhood Education and care. We are multi-site child care organization licensed by the Ministry of Education. All of our programs are located in schools because we strongly believe this model of care is one of the best options for families today. *Sundowners* is seeking a qualified *Supervisor *to join our Management Team. Requirements of the position: * Must be a graduate of the *Early Childhood Education Program* from an accredited college * Must be an RECE *with at least 2 years* proven experience in a licensed child care. * Must be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators * Must be First Aid/CPR certified * Must have Safe Food Handler Certification * Clear Vulnerable Sector Check * TB Test * Experience in school age care an asset Responsibilities * This is an administrative position that will require minimal time in the classroom. * Will manage multiple sites. * Will be responsible for the registration of families * Will mange within a budget * Will manage staff within the collective agreement * Will ensure that high quality emergent curriculum programs are provided * Will be an ambassador to our community partners * Will be committed to professional development and be a mentor to staff in this regard * Will have a clear understanding of the CCEYA and it's licensing manual * Will have strong organizational and time management skills * Will have strong communication skills (verbal and written) If you are a self starter and are looking to continue your career in a challenging, fast-paced environment please forward your resume with COVERING LETTER to the email enclosed.
