Education: Bachelor's degree. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Work setting: Various locations. Industrial construction. Institutional construction. Commercial and/or industrial construction. Tasks: Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Prepare reports. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Supervise workers and projects. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services. Monitor safety conditions. Manage difficult situations with customers. Maintain inventory of equipment. Maintain inventory of supplies. Help with scheduling and workflow. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large caseload. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Reliability.
