Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Area of specialization: Town and carriage homes. Equipment: Waxing machine. Power tools. Snowblower. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Initiative.
