*Job Overview* Reporting to the Shop or Site Supervisor, you will perform a multitude of duties at the shop and in the field, as outlined below. We provide an environment where professional growth is encouraged through welding training/practicing, CWB qualification, and Welder Apprenticeships. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Welding structural steel, handrails, etc. * Safe handling of material using a forklift and crane * Process raw materials working from blue prints, and specifications. * Apply safety precautions and procedures in the performance of duties in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and company procedures. *Additional Skills* * Able to effectively take direction and understand instructions * Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment * Able to work independently with minimal supervision * Able to work in a team environment * Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds *Requirements* * 2-3 years of welding experience in a custom/job shop environment is preferred *Certifications and Equipment* * All position CWB welding certification * TSSA certification is an asset * Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory * Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate * Worker Health & Safety Awareness in 4 Steps *Work Environment * * Indoor and outdoor * Heights * Noisy, dusty * Confined spaces Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Profit sharing * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Welding: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationStevensville, ON
