Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences for patrons. If you have a background in the food industry and possess excellent math and cash handling skills, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes - Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age - Handle cash and credit transactions using a POS system - Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed Requirements: - Previous experience in bartending or the food service industry preferred - Strong knowledge of beverage mixing and drink recipes - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 ? 20 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Tips Benefits: * Commuter benefits * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Bartending: 5 years (required) Language: * French (required) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (required) Work Location: In person- LocationOttawa, ON
