Our registered veterinary technicians take a lead role in supporting our veterinarians so you can utilize all your specialized skills. *We are a freshly renovated, independently owned, small animal and exotic/avian hospital located in Brantford Ontario and we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. *

*Responsibilities*
* Assist veterinarians in examining animals and providing medical care.
* Perform laboratory tests and procedures under supervision.
* Administer medications and treatments as directed.
* Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatments.
* Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures.
* Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
*Qualifications*
* An active license as a registered veterinary Technician in the province of Ontario, or completion of training at an accredited college as a registered veterinary technician is a requirement for this position.
* Laboratory experience is a premium skill for this role, providing a strong foundation for performing various medical tests and procedures. Candidates should also possess core skills such as animal handling, medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries. A background in veterinary medicine or a related field is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ? 40 per week
