*Tire Technician Job Description* *Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires for a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, ensuring that each customer receives quality service and support. This position requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and utilize both hand and power tools effectively. *Responsibilities* * Install, balance, and rotate tires on various vehicles. * Perform tire repairs, including patching and replacing damaged tires. * Conduct inspections to ensure proper tire pressure and tread depth. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire selection and maintenance. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals. * Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred. * Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus. * Strong customer service skills to assist clients effectively. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. * Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to tire maintenance. * Solid mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems. * A commitment to safety protocols in the workplace.
