<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>On behalf of a leading Logistics company,<strong> Protrans Personnel Services </strong>is seeking a full-time Counterbalance Forklift Operator to work in Etobicoke (Ontario)<br><br><strong>Forklift Operator - Start Immediately - Morning Shift </strong><br /><strong>Shift Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)<br />Close Intersection: Near Browns Line & Lake Shore Blvd W (Etobicoke)</strong><br /> <br /><strong>Pay Rate: $21/hr (Paid every week Friday in Bank Account) </strong><br /><strong>Must have experience working with Food Products.</strong><br><br><strong>MUST HAVE - REACH & COUNTERBALANCE EXPERIENCE WITH MINIMUM 3 YEAR.</strong><br /><strong>Location: Etobicoke (Ontario)</strong><br />Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.</li><li>Shrink wrap orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock area using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment.</li><li>Move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.</li><li>Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.</li><li>Accurately receive inbound products and replenish inventory as needed.</li><li>Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jack/forklift)</li><li>You will be required to offload and put away product that is delivered to the warehouse.</li><li>Operates Raymond Reach and/or Counterbalance trucks to transport, stage, load/unload finished products/raw materials onto and off trailers.</li><li>Case Picking orders using the Raymond Reach truck and a RF scanner gun.</li><li>Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment; clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area.</li><li>Observe all safety policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous Forklift experience</li><li>Current Forklift License</li><li>Ability to use a variety of forklift attachments</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs.</li><li>Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions in English</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Previous warehouses experience an asset</li><li>Steel Toed Shoes or Boots</li><li>RF Scanner experience an asset</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Protrans Personnel Services Inc. is a full-service recruitment company specializing in supporting customers with their contingent workforce needs in transportation, warehousing and distribution, manufacturing and administrative placements.
