The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.Here's where you'll be focusing:Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiativesDemonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of Thrifty Foods policies and procedures, including department standard operating proceduresPerforms required duties of the Floor Maintenance ProgramKeeps work area clean, safe, and presentable at all timesOperates equipment correctly and performs duties in a safety conscious mannerDemonstrates growth in product knowledge; remains aware of product changes and seasonal requirementsEstablishes positive eye contact and greets customers with a smileIs consistently dependable, conscientious, and punctualDemonstrate consistent progress in use of ovens and knowledge of product preparationAssist JP Baker/Supervisor by preparing equipment and materials, and by retrieving stockReceive and rotate stock products and ingredientsMaintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirementsOther duties as requiredWhat you have to offer:Ability to work independently in a fast paced environmentEffective Interpersonal / People SkillsGood Business / Industry KnowledgeWe offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, varied by role, designed to help our teammates to live better - physically, financially and emotionally.The starting salary range for this position in British Columbia is $16.85/hr.
