Educational Assistant Location: Normandeau School 30 hours weekly October 28, 2024 until June 30, 2025The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-8Desirable qualifications and attributes: Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable educationAbility to build upon and facilitate positive relationships through valued attachmentsAbility to support inclusive education opportunities for students in a variety of gradesExperience with Complex Special Educational Needs and Autism is considered an assetAbility to work collaboratively as a team memberAbility to work with paraprofessionals such as speech pathologist, occupational therapists and school based learning teamNVCI or SIVA training would be considered an assetFor more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at: www.rdpsd.ab.caThis competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
