*Overview* *Competitive Pay / Great Signing Bonus / Paid time off* We are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team at Westend Dental Clinic in Kingston, Ontario . Our well-established office is in the busy part of Kingston and a block away from major landmarks such as the the Rio Can and the Cataraqui Mall with many loyal patients and a well-supported dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you. *Start date:* June 10th, 2024, or earlier *What we offer* * A single general practice clinic site * A cooperative and supportive atmosphere * Convenient hours: Clinic is open Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (possibility of working Fridays upon request) * No weekend hours * 5 days worth of extra pay * Paid CE courses * Professional growth and learning new skills * Signing bonus * Paid company events and travels * Fully digital, scanner, CT SCAN, etc? *Responsibilities* * Excellent sense of clinical autonomy, initiative and organizational skills * Ability to perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth * Take digital x-rays * Enjoys engaging with patients to create a comfortable and friendly experience * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions * An eagerness to be a leader and work with the dentist to build a collaborative clinical environment to deliver high-quality care * A strong interest in working with an enthusiastic team to shape a balanced and cozy work culture * Experience in participating, or willing to learn to participate in continuous quality improvement projects * Willing to learn to maintain accurate patient recrods and treatment plans *Requirements* * Valid dental hygiene license * Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program _Join our team of dedicated professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
