The Board invites applications from qualified teachers for the following position:<p><p> <p> <p> <p> LOCATION: <p> <p> <p> St. Joseph's School, Simcoe<p> <p> <p> <p> <p> GRADE(S)/SUBJECT(S): <p> <p> <p> Core French and PREP<p> <p> <p> <p> <p> FTE: <p> <p> <p> 1.0 FTE<p> <p> <p> <p> <p> QUALIFICATION(S): <p> <p> <p> Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate - French as a Second Language Part 1<p> <p> <p> <p><p> <p>In accordance with the current OECTA Collective Agreement, priority placement will be given to any qualified redundant and supernumerary permanent teachers in order of seniority before offering the position to an Occasional Teacher.<p>If the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Teachers List will be considered. <p>In the event the assignment is still unfilled, qualified applicants that are not on the Occasional Teachers List may be considered.<p>The Board shall access and review the information contained in an applicant's portfolio for hiring purposes. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their portfolio is current and contains all relevant information, including information about Additional Qualifications that are not currently listed on your Certificate of Qualification as issued by the Ontario College of Teachers.<p>The end date of this assignment is subject to change, as applicable. <p>Applicants b eing considered for this position shall be contacted via email and asked to confirm their interest in the position, by the end of the business day after the posting closes, by responding to the email. Applicants that fail to respond within the timeline shall be deemed unavailable for the assignment. <p>About Us: <p>The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers a Christ-centered education to over 13,000 students from Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties, the City of Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The district has approximately 2,100 full and part-time staff committed to supporting Belonging, Teaching and Learning, and Wellness for all. We currently have 28 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools and a multisite Alternative Education school, and 3 administrative offices. We are unique in that we belong to three Dioceses: Hamilton, London, and St. Catharines.
