The Ideal Candidate must have: * Minimum 2+ years experience working in a demanding and high-pressure environment, preferably in event/casino/retail security; * *Minimum height of 180 cm and 90 Kg Weight;* * *Smart Serve license* * Professional physical appearance and presentation; * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; * Detailed observation and enhanced report writing skills; * Thrives in a team environment; * High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education is considered an asset; * Open availability; all days of the week consisting of afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and holidays; * Experience with understanding and being able to apply the Criminal Code; Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest (Section 494); * De-escalation and conflict resolution skills; *Job Duties and Responsibilities:* * Greeting and opening doors for customers as they enter the establishment; * Work in a public setting and enforce property rules and regulations in accordance with the policies set out by the site; * Prepared to work outside in order to process patrons entering the venue; * Experience with ID checks, physical searches, bag checks and crowd control; * Excellent note-taking skills whereby the guard will document all incidents and occurrences in detailed forms and reports; * Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time; * Maintain a safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures; * Proficient customer service and de-escalation experience; * Other duties as assigned; and Job Types: Full-time and Part-time Positions. Salary: $17.20-19.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Holidays Experience: * Customer Service or Event Security: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Ontario Security Guard Licence (required) * Drivers License and Vehicle/Reliable Transportation (required) * First Aid Certification (required) * Smart License Shift availability: * Afternoon shift(preferred) * Evening Shift(preferred) Work Location: In person *Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. The hours of work will be based on operational needs.
