Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Commercial dental laboratory. Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Prepare plaster models and moulds. Mould wax over dentures set-up. Finish metal framework of dentures. Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays. Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures. Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys. Polish and buff dentures. Technical expertise (dental): Plastering. Packing. Waxing-up. Polishing. Assembly. Area of specialization: Full dentures. Partial dentures. Orthodontic appliances. Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check. Immunization records. Criminal record check. Basic security clearance. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
