Constantly reinventing ourselves, we work closely as a team to seek out and implement innovations that lead to making York Care Centre an excellent place to live, visit, and work. *ABOUT THE ROLE* The Cook is a member of the Dietary services team whose role is to organize, prepare, cook and distribute food and beverages to the residents of York Care Centre. Additionally, they are responsible for the cleanliness of their work space/servery, cater special functions, monitor and document food temperatures and adhere to the residents? dietary restrictions. *ABOUT YOU* You have a good work record, pay close attention to detail and have obtained your high school diploma. Indenturement in the apprenticeship program and / or a Certification of Qualification in respect of the cook. You communicate in a clear and concise manner, can multi task and have strong organizational skills.
