<p>The Vancouver Board of Education (VSB) welcomes applications for the position of:<p>Full-Time Continuing Elementary Priority TTOC with Benefits<p>Work Schedule : Guaranteed Full-Time work from September to June<p><p>Assignment: Placed where there is a need to fill in a long-term assignment. We strive to place a priority TTOC in a position that best meets their qualifications. <p>Duties: Responsibilities are equivalent to a Full-Time Contract Teacher<p><p>Employment Includes: <p><p> Paid Medical and Dental<p> Paid holidays from September 1st to June 30th, including Spring and Winter Breaks<p> Teacher Pension Plan<p> Portability of seniority and sick days if transferring from a BC Public School <p> Ability to apply to and be shortlisted for internal Continuing Contracts as this position places the successful candidate in a higher category status over a day-to-day TTOC<p><p><p>With deep gratitude and respect, we are honoured to be learning and unlearning on the ancestral and unceded lands of the x?m??k??y??m (Musqueam), S?wx_wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) Nation, and s?lilw?ta? For more information about our school district, visit https://www.vsb.bc.ca/<p><p>Qualifications<p><p><p><p> Completion of a Bachelor of Education<p> Recent contract teaching experience and/or student teaching experience is required<p> Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)<p> Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) <p><p>Your application must include the following documents:<p><p> Cover Letter<p> Resume (Teaching and Non-Teaching Work Experience)<p> Academic Transcripts <p> Reports/Evaluations (lesson observations/mid-term reports not accepted):<p> <p> <p> Recent Graduates-include Final Practicum Reports<p> Experienced Teachers-include Teaching Evaluation within the past 8 years<p> <p> <p> At least 3 Professional References-email and phone numbers<p> <p> <p> Recent Graduates: 1. Faculty Advisor 2. School Advisor(s) and 3. Your most recent employer.
