Centro Wood Fired Kitchen We are looking for a motivated and creative cook with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn in one of the highest rated restaurants in Chatham with plenty of room to grow. Kitchen or culinary background is required. Some of your duties will include: * Working on a fast paced kitchen line, preparing plated dishes and take-out orders * Ability to prepare a wide assortment of ingredients (chopping and peeling vegetables, processing meat etc.) * Using basic kitchen equipment & utensils (fryer, gas range, peelers, graters, knives, etc.) * Setting up workstations with ingredients and cooking tools * Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and appliances * Ensuring proper and safe storage and handling of all food products Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Holidays * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Chatham-Kent, ON N7L 3H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Culinary (professional): 1 year (preferred) * Cooking (home or work): 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Safe Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-30- LocationChatham-Kent, ON
