Filled with a rich tradition of working directly with the community, our history is a testament to our commitment to children and the innovative programs they need. · *RECE*: Lady Macdonald Childcare Centre requires: a Permanent 7 hours/day Registered Early Childhood Educator for their Toddler Program. · *RECE*: Children?s Village at Klondike requires: a Permanent 7 hours/day Registered Early Childhood Educator for their School Age Program (split shift). · *RECE*: Children?s Village at Navan requires: a Permanent 7 hours/day Registered Early Childhood Educator for their Toddler program. · *RECE*: Children?s Village at Navan requires a Maternity Leave Term 7 hours/day Registered Early Childhood Educator for their Kindergarten/School Age Program (split shift) ? Starting ASAP until April 2026. · *RECE*: Children?s Village at Bridlewood requires a Maternity Leave Term 7 hours/day Registered Early Childhood Educator for their Kindergarten Program (split shift) ? Starting ASAP until November 2025 *Job Summary:* The RECE will provide a high quality program of education and care for children in a group setting under the direction of the Program Supervisor reflecting the principles of Early Learning for Every Child Today and Ontario?s Pedagogy for the early years, How Does Learning Happen?, and in accordance with the regulations of the Child Care and Early Years Act. They will collaborate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program that facilitate learning and the attainment of the developmental goals for the children and focuses on active learning through exploration, play, and inquiry. They will participate in the supervision and the evaluation of supply staff, students, and others in the implementation of emergent curriculum/project approach. Maintain confidentiality at all times. *Qualifications:* * Registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators; * Early Childhood Education Diploma/Degree from a recognized community college or University or *other equivalent education qualifications*; * Minimum of one-year experience in a Licensed Child Care Program with the appropriate age group; * Experience working with emergent curriculum, How Does Learning Happen? and Early Learning for Every Child Today; * Holds a valid Standard First Aid & CPR ? Level C Certification; * Clean and current Police Vulnerable Record Check; * Displays a caring, compassionate and respectful attitude towards children and families; * Displays the ability to communicate well in English, both orally and in writing; * Demonstrates the ability to work as a team member with professionalism, shows initiative, reliability, and an eagerness to learn; * Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. *Salary:* Starting at $47,543.60 per year prorated ($26.12 per hour), *plus applicable $2 WEG per hour. Permanent positions include a comprehensive benefits package.
