St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 1 for work assignment at Joseph M. Demko School. More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. Hours of Work: 17.5 hrs./week; 3.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday mornings; Part Time, Temporary<p>Hourly Rate: $21.98 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement Specific Needs/Requirements for this position: <p> Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies required<p> Experience implementing ILP and IPP goals<p> Verbal Intervention Training is an asset<p> Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred<p> Candidate must have strong skills in managing students behavior<p> Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset<p> Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset<p> Preferred candidates would have experience working with Division 1 & 2 students<p> Preferred candidates would have experience working with Division 3 students<p> Required to work in all core subjects with Junior High School student Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation which describes: <p> Highest level of formal education.<p> Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.<p> Courses, seminars, specialized training.<p> Experience related to the position.<p> Other skills and abilities applicable to the position.
