Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Regional. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Basic security clearance. Valid passport. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel cross-border. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Cellular phone. Gloves.
