*Job Description:* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with a G1 license and Make-Up Air experience to join our team at Climate Control. This position will primarily support operations at a mining facility in Gogama, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, particularly in mining and industrial settings. *Key Responsibilities:* * Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards. * Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, particularly Make-Up Air units. * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. * Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of all climate control systems. * Document work performed and maintain accurate records of service. * Respond to service calls and emergencies as needed. *Qualifications:* * Valid G1 HVAC license and Make-Up Air certification. * Proven experience in HVAC installation and repair, preferably in mining/industrial settings. * Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including ductwork, controls, and refrigeration. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. * Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation. *Working Conditions:* * Ability to work in a mine environment, including exposure to various weather conditions. * Must be able to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks. * Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts as needed, including overtime.
