Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Work setting: Urban area. Corporation. Tasks: Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations. Adapt existing illustrations. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: Social Media. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Sitting. Large workload. Tight deadlines. Personal suitability: Client focus. Initiative. Team player.
