Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Analyze hair and scalp condition. Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Provide custom hair and scalp treatment. Shampoo customers' hair. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Perform receptionist duties. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Hairstylist Licence. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Experience: Experience an asset. Other benefits: Free parking available.
