Skills: -Must have at least one year of driving experience in Canada. -Must have USA visa - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a long haul driver or similar role - Proficient in operating forklifts and other relevant equipment - Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations and procedures - Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks - Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively Duties: * Operate and drive primarily tractor-trailer (flatbed) to transport goods and materials over long distances * Preform pre trip inspections * Drive a vehicle in a professional manner * Fill out proper documentation * Tarping * Picks and drops * Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain logbooks * Transport goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery * Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed * Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate: * Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: * Language training provided Work Location: On the road- LocationNisku, AB
