*Job Summary*
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our food quality and presentation meet the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
*Duties*
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of food production.
* Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and development.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and restaurant procedures.
* Assist in managing kitchen operations during peak service times to ensure efficiency.
* Participate in special events or catering services as required.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a cook or Sous Chef in a restaurant or food industry setting.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
* A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help elevate the dining experience for guests.
* Previous experience in restaurant management or bartending is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
